I began my crypto journey in 2020, inspired by countless videos of people getting rich from buying various crypto projects. I remember thinking, “If they can do it, so can I.” After watching numerous wallet setup tutorials and linking my bank account to make withdrawals on Crypto.com, I made my first investments. One of them was a project called Dia Wolf, which was focused on saving wolves. I also invested (100 into ten different projects, including Doge and Shib—those are just a couple that stand out in my memory.

Then I came across the idea of getting free tokens through airdrops. Unfortunately, that turned out to be a big mistake. I joined a Telegram group and clicked a link to claim an airdrop, not realizing it would be my undoing. I watched my wallet in real time, expecting to see new tokens appear. Instead, I saw my entire portfolio begin to disappear, one asset at a time, until my balance was wiped out. It was the worst feeling—my stomach dropped, and I felt sick inside. That was my first (and thankfully only) attempt at a crypto airdrop gone wrong.

Fast forward to more recent times: I was invited to share Alpha 7, my project with two other partners. When I joined, I was greeted by Mike—also known as “the Ehvi8r”—in a group call with around 800 listeners. The welcome was amazing, and then Mike surprised me by saying: “Maxx, as a token of my appreciation for all the hard work you do in this space for so many projects, it’s time to give you a reward.” He announced that I was now the proud owner of Reservoir Dawgz. I was blown away! I’d never thought of launching my own project, because starting from scratch is no small task. But here it was, already established and safe—“the contract is SAFU,” as Mike put it—and with a fantastic website.

We’ve grown from 40 members to over 120 in just a few hours. All the hard work since 2020, the heartbreak from rug pulls, and dealing with two-faced people has been a tough but valuable learning experience. Now, here we are in 2025—the year of honesty—and we’re building an incredible group of seven. But it won’t stop at just seven projects; we’re aiming for more. Stay tuned for further updates.
